
COMPOSE has been accepted as a member of the EXCELLERAT P2 Interest Group community. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to developing scalable HPC solutions and open-source tools for extreme-scale computational fluid dynamics research.
Through this partnership, we are advancing GPU-enabled solutions for large-scale eigendecomposition applied to high-fidelity CFD data compression. Our work addresses a critical bottleneck in data-intensive HPC workflows: efficiently managing and compressing massive DNS datasets (O(10–50 TB)) while preserving the relevant physical information essential for turbulence research.
The EXCELLERAT collaboration brings together our efforts at Università degli Studi di Genova with the computational infrastructure and expertise of CINECA and the broader HPC community. We are grateful for the support and look forward to advancing exascale-ready workflows for extreme-scale CFD.
